If you're an evil cleric you can destroy them outright if you're at a high enough level.

Sazerac good point. I was standing just within visual from the zombie.
A level 26 and 24 can't even turn a zombie. PHHUHGSOS
Well I can't be bothered to reinstal BG2 just to try killing a zombie.

Hi,

You need to turn party AI off..... otherwise the AI script will override the Turn Undead ability of your character. I had to do that all the time with my paladin who seemed to stop turning undead and lash out with melee weapons since I'm using a Paladin Melee (Fighter1) script. Also it takes around 3 seconds from the ability to have an effect on undead so try avoid doing anytyhing else in the meantime (you can move though).

Hope this helps.

What level would that be, Memnoch? So far all, Viconia, does is irritate them so they run away or she turns them to allies, which flickers back and forth.

It depends on what undead they are. I would say in the 20s.

After Lvl 25, I gave Anomen a signboard that said, "HIT ME!!!!", while he waltzed around Undead and made them all chunkified.

Don't turn the party AI off, that makes it more complicated. When you get into a fight with undead, pause the game and customise the paladin/cleric's script to NONE. Go back to the main screen, selected turn undead and away you go.
