Ok.
I was sitting in a math class the other day, being bored out of my SKULL, when inspiration struck.
This could be a reality TV show.

DISCLAIMER: Illumina hates Reality TV and merely wishes to share her wit and perhaps make some money by pitching this to Fox.

Ok.
You get a REALLY easy subject, like intro to math, or perhaps English, or even science. You get a professor with a really thick accent, or maybe Ben Stein, to teach/host... I haven't decided.
The idea is to be so hilariously stupid, it torments the contestants/students. They can walk out at any time.
Now, the catches.

* Loud parties at night. You house the contestants in a dormlike hall with paper-thin walls, and hold loud parties at night. They can participate or not. Whether they do or not is irrelevant; the noise and random banging on doors will ensure sleep deprivation until about three or four.

*An incredibly inept professor. I'm really leaning towards Ben Stein here. He can give stupid analogies and comparisons, and make moronic jokes. This is to keep the television audience amused.

*Microphones on students. This will capture sarcastic remarks made during class.

*Detention. This will be a major incentive to quit. Falling asleep in class, daydreaming, or laughing at the professor will net a detention. Detention involves degrading, menial tasks like clapping erasers, scraping gum off of desks, and cleaning toilets. I think five detentions constitutes expulsion.

OR...
It could be like above, but instead of a boring topic and inept teacher, you get a subject like nuclear physics, get a drill-sergeant type to teach it and abuse the students... Imagine what you could do with a contestant's personal history at your fingertips! I'm talking emotional scarring. Ratings will soar. Now we have two conditions for victory!
You don't walk out, AND
You get the highest grade.

What do you all think? The more I read this, the more I realize it's not such an insane idea.....
Please, feedback, everyone!

Come now, is it really that outlandish? In this day and age of My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancee?

Actually I like both ideas. I HATE all the reality shows on nowadays and wouldn't watch them unless I was paid substantial amounts of money, but yours sound interesting and funny enough to watch I am a sucker for good comedy
