okay then. I am looking for hints, not spoilers. i am trying to find Deekin. I have gone to blomburg after gaining his realease but Blomburg has been overrun and destroyed. He is not in his shop or anywhere else that i can find.

Hmmm, he was in his shop for me. I think this is a fairly common problem. Try heading back to the starting village - I think Deekin will appear on the eastern map near the transition point. If you've already tried that, and he isn't appearing still, try going back to an earlier save before you go to Bloomburg and reload.
I have seen this problem listed on the Bioware forums several times. Try doing a forum search in the Bioware SOU forums under "missing deekin".

Once again I had trouble raiding a dead body and never found the dragons tooth. Deekin appeared but decided not to join me.

It's been a while since I played SOU but I thought you needed to show deekin a certain doll to convince him that he was freed from serving the white dragon.

That is true, Micah. But I couldn't even find Deekin to show the doll to him. I got everything squared away though.
