DOES THE LEGACY REALLY HAVE TO DIE?

I'VE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED PLAYING BG1 AND BG2. I HAVE TO SAY THE REASON I ENJOYED BG2 MORE THAN BG1 WAS BECAUSE THERE WEREN'T ABOUT 100 RUBBISHY AREAS WITH ONLY ONE QUEST PER PLACE.

BASICALLY I HAVE REALLY REALLY GOT INTO THE GAME. AND I'M EXTREMELY CLOSE TO FINISHING THE GAME I'M JUST GETTING THE CUP FROM THAT BLUE DRAGON. THERE IS QUITE A BIT OF STUFF STILL FOR ME TO DO, LIKE THE CULT OF THE EYELESS, KANGAXX, AND FIRKARGG BUT THAT'S IT REALLY. TO BE HONEST I AM JUST NOT BOTHERED TO FINISH IT, KNOWING I AM MINUTES AWAY FROM DEFEATING IRENICUS. HE IS GOING TO BE A DAMN BREEZE, I WONDER IF MY LVL 19 FIGHTER WILL TAKE HIM HIMSELF????

HE'S ALREADY GOT CLOAK OF MIRRORING, IF I CAST SOME PROTECTION FROM MAGIC, AND GET THE RING OF GAXX HE WILL LITERALLY KICK ANYONES ASS. HE DOES 4 ATTACKST PER ROUND WITH ONLY ONE SWORD!

MY POINT IS THOUGH, SHOULD I GET ToB AND DOES ANYONE KNOW IF A BG 3 IS BEING PREPARED COZ I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY IT.

Dude lose the caps!

NWN is not a sequal to BG but it should very cool. I am looking forward to all of the 3rd party stuff being written for that. I don't think there will be a sequal because interplay does not have the D&D license anymore?
I am not terribly concerned cuz I think bioware will make a good rpg regardless of the rules its based on. They have torn coming out as well as the star wars rpg.

If you don't want the legacy to end though get ToB!
