If you're main character is a male then you should switch Amnoen for Viconia. She has low strength but this can be fixed with the handy gauntlets of ogre power. Besides Amnoen will whine throughout the entire game if your main character isn't a girl. I like Valygar better than Kalderon. Yeah he has true sight and dispel magic, but so does any other cleric. Valygar can use dual weild and can backstab just like a theif. Besides the cloak of mirrors will work better than the 50% magic resistance you'd get from the holy avenger. Beware though it's the cheapest item in the game, rendering you invulnerable to all magic damage. But not status spells.
