My friend recently applied for registration on IronWorks. And he is waiting for password email to come for 3 days now. How long does it take for the email to come? And can someone explain me the cause of such a delay?? (no offence, just curiosity!)

Account validation. To keep banned members from returning and flaming the board, all registrations are checked. By hand. And IP validation is extremely tedious. I think it usualy takes around a week.

My dads "OSO" account took longer than that. Lady Aberdenes' took 3 weeks! Give Ziroc some time, he'll get to it. He is a busy busy man!

Give Ziroc some time to breathe will be my statement. This forum is really, really big (about 12000 members) and the new accaounts must be checked. One year ago some people subcribed 2-3 times and now they have many nicknames. Also, banned members may want to enter again. Just wait for a week, a month, a year, a century ( well not that much!)

Thanks Mel! It's nice to be back home. If I'm not mistaken I was offline for more than a year but I intend not to leave another time. It's good to be home!
