Nevermind the Harry Potter bash... but that Dracula movie is great. The opening scene is on my top 10 list of best openings ever...

but thats just my opinion, I could be wrong...

Come on Jorath Calar, you cannot be serious. Dracula character was a disaster, Van Helsing a failure and the whole idea of "dracula's bride" was a ruin. Dracula movie with the actor that played in the "naked gun" (or whatever that film is called), now that was fun.

Worst film? Some kind of zombie-wannabe movie, clearly plagiarized in an awful way from many of the horror classics. Called "House of the Dead", I think. Fairly new.

House of the Dead was a movie based on a game, and it should be viewed in that light, just as the upcoming Hunter: the Reckoning movie is (should've been based on the RPG, not the video game), the Lara Croft (Macaroni and Cheese) movies, and Mario Brothers, all pretty terrible.

Sorry about mentioning the BfC, I shoulda known that would blow up, but for a REAL worst movie I'd have to go with RETURN of the Killer Tomates (Where they literally run out of money for the script halfway through and the tomatoes are hot (read: Ugly 80's chicks) women.)

The problem with vampire films is that the definitive one was made in 1929 and hasn't been bettered by anything in the intervening 3/4 of a centurary.

What about Dracula 2000?, or "Queen of the Damned". Apparently it seems Maddox agrees, check his vampire thing that I can't find at the moment.

Yes, but the difference with Bram Stoker's Dracula over the others is that it has more star power on its side. Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins, etc. and it still sucks (pun intended... ).

Absolutely most ridiculous scene in the movie is in the garden, when he appears as "beast man" and starts shagging Lucy. I literally fell out of my seat I was laughing so hard. When did the movie shift the gear from vampire romance to werewolf soft-porn?

Besides, you should always be leery of any movie that has an author's name in the title. They usually (not always) suck.
