Through out the game, I've been playing a Chaotic-Good Pc, all up until I went through the Nine Hell trials. I did the "good" aligned choices except when I charged Sarevok, but here's the thing. Ever since I've done that through such and such datas before, I've been able to change my alignment back with Shadowkeeper. The game reads it as Neutral Evil but it still shows up as Chaotic Good in Sk. Any advice?

accept it. be yourself. evil can be fun as hell but i think your party is a goodie one ? you have to choose the good sarevok's tear solution then. i don't think your alignment can be "fixed" if SK cannot do.
blackisle implemented this to prevent powergaming i think, you know "i choose whatever is best for my charcater and i only care for alignment in some minor affecting dialogues".

Yea I have a good party, I'm not into the whole evil bit. Way I see it, if I'm going to be evil and have a lousy rep., I usually use Disentigrate or cast Death Spells at people in the taverns
Yea, I'm going to burn in hell Thanks anyway |

Hiya Gangrell!
I think that the alignment change is actually due to a trigger in the game engine and not just an alignment change, which is why SK can't change it back. Therefore it is a variable which is changed your alignment, so you're still technically CG, but you're also evil as well... but as I said, I'm not too sure, but I know someone else will be able to help you. Good luck!

Hey giant, I guess there really is no way to change it back. I even spawned the Helm of Opposite Alignment on him (out of frustration mind you) and it still didn't change it, bah!!
Oh well, a jug of ale and a quick Deathspell for everybody |

I would have a look at the status effects and global variables in shadowkeeper.

Check the Effects in ShadowKeeper. One of them will be adjusting your alignment constantly... remove it, and you'll be back to the set alignment. Only problem is *finding* the effect...

It doesn't go under a particular file name that I could find in Sk?

Not in SK, not in a easy to find form anyway.
If you load up NearInfinity and look at the script for ar2900.bCS (aka hell), you will find it casts spell 3350 on you. That translates to the spell contained in SPIN350.spl. Which only does one thing, which is, assuming I'm reading this right, apply effect number 57 on you, which sets your alignment to Neutral Evil. Knowing that, You can use SK to remove effect 57 from yourself. SK lists them by HEX, not decimal, the HEX for 57 is 39. In theory anyway.
