Am I the only one here who thinks that would be not only incredibly noisy, but also impractical and ineffective? Water cooling systems trump that Big Bad Turbine Mother F***er in every way.

Styrofoam is a thermo-isolator. Not a good way to go.
A silver tub on the other hand...

Ice would melt in short order - a high end CPU us putting out a couple of hundred watts of heat.
Also youd get condensation on the outside of the tub. This is A Bad Thing, cos its going to drip onto the motherboard. |

The shops around here claim water cooling is bad and "to get an extra fan, it does a better job". They don't stock any water cooling systems and are resistant to the idea of selling you one. You'd have to get in a fight with them to make them sell you one.
