Well a gnome being a barbarian would be wrong but I could see a half orc being a thief, maybe a clumsy one but maybe.

i have tried the halfling monk and elven barbarian, i got bored with being a fighter, so i ditched them both around chapter 5.

well i have tried Half-Orc a Lawful Good Cleric/Thief.. does that count? [img]tongue.gif[/img]
it sucks abit though.... i had to lower the difficulty down... i tried Insane difficulty and i died a lot of times... *sigh*

Not a clue. Only the last 2 of them require cheating, and there's some cheating in this area that I don't really consider cheating, such as expanding the Bard class to include Gnomes. I feel that any race that can play a Fighter, Mage and/or Thief deserves the ability to be a Bard.

Other freaky combos:
Kensai->Cleric
Wizard Slayer->Mage (Sure, it's a good powergaming character, but how do you rationalize the roleplay?)
