Hello people, how are you all?
I've got nothing better to do with my time than spin a 5 cent on the table, and wonder how my cat is. She lives in a different house to me, and that's kind of stressing me out. Why can't I stay in one place for once? If you're okay today: GOOD! If you're not okay today: Awwww. Hope you feel better soon. PS. Just looked at the first post: If you'd typed that stuff in first rather than putting an F, you wouldn't have had first post, and it would have been fair. I'm never around when the cafe's get started. Sob [ 10-29-2003, 07:07 AM: Message edited by: Dragonshadow ] |

yes link the person is very generous. i am just amazed that after such a harsh turn down (her words were not harsh but her tone of voice was) she even bothered speaking about it and finding a solution. but i guess she is probably just stressed, having to run a non-profit no-kill shelter while shorthanded on volunteers has got to be hard. but as in the past when told i don't qualify for help, as long as i am not insulted i don't hold it against ppl, and i think maybe god was simply waiting for me to be truly appreciating of the help.
i'm sorry dragonshadow that you can't be with your kitty. i am just so happy to be able to hopefully hold mine a few years more. it is hard i had a kitty for 17 years and i hoped so much that dex was not very old. unfortunately the youngest average age for a kitty with a hyperactive thyroid is 8 years! according to the info i have gotten anyway. the other average given is 13 years. i hope you find a nice place to live that will let you have your kitty. they are joyous bundles of fur and love.

My kitty's about 17 now. It's kind of sad, because she's really overweight, she used to be a good hunter (get birds out of the air my dad said) but now she's got artheritus and can only just jump onto the bed and go upstairs. Also she's going deaf (she can't hear me coming or calling to her, yet she can hear the fridge opening in the other room), and after an operation a little while ago has no teeth. Also she's often got constipation. I've gone downstairs twice last week to find her curled up on the floor, all quiet and unhappy.
And I hope we find somewhere we can live for good. Ever since my gran died, things have been... complicated. They were before (she couldn't remember things for five minutes) but now they're worse. |

My cat is old and overweight too. Not to mention going blind he can hardly walk up the stairs due to the weight problem. My dad wants to put it to sleep but I would hate to do that I would much rather a natural death.

Hullo all!
Got an exam tonight, about Ancient History (mainly Greece and Rome) but no matter what I try, I can't get myself to study. Ah well.. maybe I get lucky and pass the test even I don't study. I know something about the subject |

wow, I just figured out my 3 year old is really smart never payed attention to this before, but she has been talking, since she was 17 months, and has gotten to the point that you can actually have a convo with her, and she knows every cartoon and movie, and can tell you when, and who is coming on one time, my husband turned on the tv, and checked the channels, found harry porter, he no sooner turned it over there, than she came running, yelling Harry potter, and it had not even gotten to the opening seen how did she know? she has been opening doors since she was 2, climbing out of her bed since she was 14 onths, we had to get her a low bed so she would not fall. should I worry? lol I mean some members of my family are extremely smart, we are talking graduating from college, going on to program computers, and one of my cousin scored 1st place in the state science fair, and 3rd in the nation a few years ago. And yet another graduated high school ROTC as a LT, and is now up for major as soon as he gets out of Iraq. Perhaps She will follow in their footsteps? ok, enough bragging the other 2 are smart as well, but not like her, they are a little slower at learning somethings, and faster at others, like the 2 year old learned my name, not mama, but Leah, before she was even 2 :/
