Hello,

Sorry for my english.

I think someone here could help me or just give an advice.
The problem is, I think I am missing several files after installing W&W. I don't know either my CD got corrupted or something else happened, but I can't access Town Hall and Wizard Guild in first city and Inn in Brimlok.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me.

Welcome to the boards, deadmopo3. May your adventures in the Gael Serran warm the hearts of those who hear of them.

What operating system are you playing on? Win 2k and XP have issues with the movie files associated with some of the buildings in Valeia, and you can clean them up by either decompressing the video files using virtualdub, or getting the old codec to be able to play them. Both options are covered under the Tech Tips thread, listed at the top of the forum page.

If that's not it, please respond back with more details and we'll see what we can do...

Well, I don't know how I missed that tip...
After using vdub everything is OK, except hub doesn't match mask anymore. To get the building highlighted you must click left of it.
But, I guess, it's because I dont't have needed codecs.

Hopefully that will be the end of your problems

However, you might want to review the rest of the Tech Tips thread. There are some things in there that are particular to Win2k and XP, and you may find one of them causing you grief. Compatibility mode is one thing, and so is virtual memory size (and style).

But in any case, go out there and kill something
