Missing Liches????

hey, I started a new game last week, trying to dual kensai/mage...

now I'm in Temple ruin, but the lich which should be there before we enter the "name/word" room wasn't there! there were only two skeleton warriors and two shadow fiends (and a bone golem lurking in the statue room).

the last time I finsihed the game (from SoA through ToB), the lich wasn't there as well. Actually, there were three liches missing: in Temple ruin, in unseeing eye quest (the cave right before entering the beholder lair) and in Spellhold maze. now I didn't see the one in Temple Ruin, I have a feeling that I won't be seeing the other two as well~~

This happened after I installed the v. 26499 ToB patch...does this version get rid of those three liches...or it's a new bug as they tried to fix the older ones? anyone had the same problem? or is it just ME???

never tought I'd say this...but I do MISS liches~_~

or...is there a way to CLUAC them into the game??

At a guess, your at a lower level this time than the first time through, and the game only spawns the liches for high level parties. The simplest fix is to install tactics mod, and make sure the 'always toughest dungeon spawn' component is installed. You may or may not want to install the other components, they do make the game much harder, but if you find yourself missing the Liches thats likely what your looking for. Be warned, that theres also a 'slightly smarter mages and liches' component that makes the liches quite troublesome.

ehh...the last time I went through I was definitely in higher levels than the pre-patched games, in spellhold maze at least~~

I actually thought the tactics mod would help, and I installed it...loaded the game...even Skeleton warriors and shadow fiends disappeared~~~~
