I post to maybe 5 different forums. They´re about football, music, musicianship and.. just life in general. People are what attracts in most of them, even if you´ve grown out of the actual purposes of the site, old friends make you want to keep hanging around.

This is when you stop becoming a member of a forum and start becoming a member of a community. The forum itself might change, will probably change. Your posting rate might slow down, you might disappear for a while, but you'll always come back and start posting again. And you always know you'll be welcome, and that there will be at least some people you'll know. Good online communities have that special something that makes you want to keep coming back.

I, myself, am a member of a bucketload of sites, though I only post actively at Ironworks, Unforgotten realms, the Protectors of the Plot continuim (PPC, a fanfiction site), the Godawful Fanfiction messageboard (Another fanfiction site) and the Oasis.

Just three. This, the Oasis (although I don't post much, just watch the others gradually go insane ) and a running forum.

I only occasionally breeze in here, but its always good for a chat.
lifes busy, but I'll agree with Memnoch and Cloudy, IW is a part of me now, its good to have people I know around
I've gotta thank Ziroc for that... he's a legend keeping this place up through all the ups and downs of both the forum and his personal life.

Other than IW though, I go to the opinion section of TDN (toolshed.down.net) to discuss music, life, and the many complexities wihch surround both. Seriously eye opening stuff (and yes, I mean the third eye )
