I do think she's a babe but I still maintain that Liz Hurley should have been chosen to play Lara, Jolie's English accent is abominable!

i agree about the accent thing but if your going to go for someone else who deosn't look like lara croft then go for the gold in the looks department, go for sarah michelle gellar (he says slightly drooling).

While I agree that Sarah Michelle Gellar is really hot I was playing Tomb Raider 3 today and it struck me just how much Angelina Jolie actually looks like Lara Croft. I think they did a great job casting here for the role. And about the accent I thought it was pretty good.

I have not seen Tomb Raider yet, so if anyone wants to tell me what they thought of it, I'd appreciate it. I have watched my step-bro play the game, and have to say Jolie certainly looks the part.

I agree that she is extremely pretty. (Yes, of course I'm jealous...

Awww, Lioness, there is absolutely nothing to be jealous about: women like her are absolutely irreal Hollywood fabrications, a mere product of which we'll always only see the facade. In many ways Angelina Jolie, the actress, is not less artificial than Lara Croft and we will never get to know Angelina Jolie, the woman, anyway. By contrast you are the "REAL THING" - and any guy who has got the tiniest bit of sense and is worth more than a piece of sh#te understands that fundamental difference very well and knows perfectly which to prefer.
So, don't worry and be a happy lioness !

Your are more than welcome, Silky-Paws !

And maybe you should just "strike back" by posting a thread discussing the behinds, uh, acting skills of male Hollywood stars ...
