I heard about that at PBG. It really does bring home the fragility of life. I didn't know her personally, but I read some of her posts.

What do you mean by this, 250? I hope that I'm not misunderstanding your intention here?

No worries, just wanted to make sure you didn't get attacked by others for the wrong reasons.

I know she'd been a member at your site for a few days, however I provided the link to PBG because I thought the members there could use a little support and sympathy from us.

Most of the members of my board are from PBG and they loved it when we made a dedicated forum in her memory. We are doing something on my board to keep her memory alive where as at PBG most of the topics that where started have now falling off the first page there.

I am still deeply saddened by the lose so please don't take this the wrong way.

Excuse me, I had no idea this was a contest...
I never said anything about your board either.

Vic, with all due respect, why is it important whose board she's a member of or which board has a bigger memorial to her? She's a person who lost her life in tragic circumstances. You're not competing with PBG for who has the biggest memorial, are you?

EXACTLY! Thanks Memnoch!!
I just couldn't make myself say that in a topic about a girl who died such a horrible, unnecessary death. Frankly I find it disgusting that this even came up, like you say, it's not a competition and Vic you should be ashamed about your reaction. So the threads are freefalling at PBG huh? But you have a whole forum dedicated?? That is just sickening...how dare you mention the fact that the threads about Melissa are freefalling in PBG (last time I checked they weren't anyway) as if that is a measure of how much they care about her death?? There were many many people on that forum who knew her intimately, and she ultimately was a member of that forum, which is why I wanted to post the link here. I figured they might appreciate our support, nothing more.

The forums are under the header "Communities" on this site and there is also a memorial site at
http://213.237.35.1/famke.php[/url]

(at the PBG forums, you need the Rants & Raves board)

Thanks for the links Mel - my condolences are to all who knew her, regardless of which board they frequent.
