Actually, what would happen here in the states, is that all would be cared for. Then the Hospital would start looking for some one to pay. If no one can pay, then the hospital would off the money for taxes purposes. Next year, they will then up the cost for services, of those that can pay. Which would be the insurance companies, who in turn will up their premiums. So ultimately the cost will be spread around to everyone. That's the way it works.

If I had $1 million dollars to donate to any cause or relief effort of my choice, I would choose the Juvinile Diabetes Foundation. Diabetes has been entitled epidemic in proportion (1 person dies every three minutes from complications).
Little children with diabetes are not living real lives. to go to McDonald's for a sandwich, my friend has to pull over, check her daughter's blood sugar level by pricking her finger, analize it to see if it is high or low, then calculate what can be eaten, based on the results. After the meal, another blood check is required. Insulen is given daily to try to prevent complications. Insulen is not a cure, only life support while the cure is being invented. Daily life is not any fun for these kids. More people will die with diabetes than any other disease, world wide.
