I always knew that people from "The Other Side" (of the pennines) were weird, but _Nalia_ (apart from the fact that she looks like Drew Barrymore) She talks way too much (and there's no way to shut her up in the game...)

Now, Jaheira, there's a woman... (pity I'm not evil enough to keep Viconia)

If you want to shut Nalia up, replace her wav files with utter silence. There's loads of them tho

C'mon, looking like Drew Barrymore's enough for me... but seriously, it *is* her skills as a wizard I like.

If you're talking about an evil party then, yup, its got to be Viconia (I'm just running through an evil party now in preparation for TOB).

It wasn't so much the actual noise (I usually play with sound low anyway) but the constant interruption - and she never seemed like a good mage anyway.
Personally though I don't think that Imeon was ever mage material either...
(She always had a nasty accident in BG1)

Nalia is AWESOME! She should have had a romance option. Her ring is one of the best there is. Nalia is AWESOME!

I had Aerie in my party, practically from the start. When I got Imoen back she did have a lot less experience, but after I crept out of that dark, damp place full of drow Imoen was the better mage in my party. She levels up more quickly as she is dual classed instead of multiclassed. It's the same as with Naila, but Imoen is a much better companion. Anomen and Naila are simply so annoying I don't even consider including them in my party anymore.

Nalia isn't really annoying, apart from when she wants you to help her. Every time you enter the copper coronet she interrupts you. I don't know why people hate Anomen though, he is useful -the one I hate, (and always have) is Jaheira, (and Aerie, Jan is annoying too, but not as much) I always killed her and either kept or left Khalid. (He only needed one item to be a good fighter, unlike Minsc, who has crap dex and low con.)

I totatally agree. There is no way that Nalia is more annoying than Aerie. Aerie is useless too. Jaheira is a plain bitch, and she was utterly useless in BG1. Anomen is a descent character, low dex, but still a good fighter.
