Tony Blair (MP for Texas North) is off to Washington to address the US Congress. He was to have been awarded the Congressional Gold Medal but it was decided that in view of the gathering storm clouds at home TB (sounds like some kind of disease) would be better served if it was shelved.

Problems reguarding the Weapons of Mass Disappearance, war against the BBC, British subjects held in Guantanamo Bay, taking the country to war based on false intelligence reports and doubts about his honesty and the honesty of his closest aides have taken a heavy toll on the Poodle. Any visit to the US where he is so revered must give him some much needed respite.

On Wednesday, Mr Blair faced rowdy scenes over the continuing weapons row in his last prime minister's questions before Parliament's long summer recess.

The House of Commons foreign affairs committee last week reported that the "jury is still out" on the case for war in Iraq.

The concept of Texas North is an oxymoron. You'd have to be a moron to think Texans associate with the North. If you want to refer to England as one of the Eastern Texas counties that is acceptable. There are a few counties that are as small as England. Just don't use the N word. Otherwise the only valid Texan response is "get a rope".

So there is no northern part of Texas? What part of Texas is Amarillo in then?(as a stranger I won't understand the term 'panhandle')

British Parliamentary areas are broken down into smaller constituencies. The Borough of Islington is too populous for one MP so it is subdivided into Islington South and Islington North - both are in the south of the country.

The points of the compass in Texas are East, West, South, and Unsouth. By the way, if George W buys a house in Dublin, does that make him Irish?

OT Alert!

What is the Texas Panhandle. Does it refer to the thin western part of Oklahoma? If so, why is it called the Texas and not Oklahoma Panhandle?

Both Texas and Oklahoma have panhandles. If you stand in the right place you can grab both states by the handle and bang them together.

Alaska has a panhandle as well. I feel it should be annexed by British Columbia.

SHOCK! HORROR! Phoney Blair tells the truth!!

To the US Congress:

"Thank you for that reception. It's more than I deserve and more than I'm used to"

They clapped him so much I thought he would pull out a box and start tossing them fish!

BTW - the expert 'accused' of leaking information to the BBC has disappeared this morning. Now a body has turned up. Probably just another victim of the Iraq war - badgered to death by phoney Tony and his cronies.

Horrible, smarmy, slimy, two-faced tosspot!
