I am New to Neverwinter. Is there an editor for this game? I would like one that works like the Gatekeeper or Dalekeeper editor

There are some things like that on the NW Vault.
Things like PRC Character Creator and LETO can help you edit your characters. http://www.nwvault.com BTW Welcome to Ironworks!

You can edit some character traits using toolset scripting, as well as completely rewrite saved games or campaigns. You can also edit character properties in-game using the console, but LETO is, in my opinion, the best character editor in terms of functionality and user-friendliness. LETO also allows you to import your character into a module, edit him/her/it as an NPC and export the character again for use in-game.
Basically, there are tricks to do just about everything. However, some require a bit of know-how to do succesfully. |

I've found that all I've ever needed in the way of editing characters is the console for boosting stats a bit.
Before thinking about messing with characters this way, I suggest getting Chewy's "Novice to Epic Character Maker" from the vault and making some test builds. This will give you a much clearer idea about the classes and their abilities. Also note that the PRC (community-created prestige classes) is not supported in many of the mods on the vault (although, of course, some do support it). |

What? You just started playing and want to cheat already?
You can get LETO from the vault: http://nwvault.ign.com Use the search box and search on leto. P.S. I hear the site has a lot of popups; you may want to turn of javascript before visiting. |

They could have set that up better, but there is a search content button on the left side of the screen, type leto in there, enter, and then choose other from the options list it shows. Scroll through that, and there are several leto versions listed. I just went and got it myself, just to see what it's about. Been hearing a lot of things about it, so why not, can't use it for my online games anyway, both are server vaults.

Did you try the thing yet? I couldn't get mine to work. I tried several things and followed the instructions but it didn't work. Maybe there's another one?
