I have played the game a the perfect scout:
Fighter/Mage/Thief I can detect traps, neutralize most badies, lure them to ambush, wreck havok BUT I am soooo low in levels that I really regret it! There are soooo many decent mages that I wish I was a pure fighter or thief. If I start again in TOB will I loose all my goodies? Best be one of these if you are only someway into the game: Good: Wizard Slayer or Fighter Evil: Druid |

Just import a new character into one of your games (you'll have to play in multiplayer). (Drag your normal save folder into your multiplayer save folder) and then transfer your iteams across from your old character to the new one.
Write back if you want me to explain this in more detail. You could alternatvly use Shadow Keeper to import the iteams and give your new character some experience. ------------------ |

Going back to Avatar's earliers question does anyone know whether you lose your iteams in ToB. When you import your character?

No, you don't lose your items. You don't really *import* your characters into ToB. It is supposed to be a seamless transition from the end of BG2 immediately into ToB. We'll see... However, if this is the case (and it works right) then you shouldn't lose any items...I wouldn't think. I think the way it works is if you start with a new character from ToB they already have some good stuff. ------------------ Now where did I leave that doughnut?! |
