When last I left the old board, there was a thread from Relic about his daughter and her severed tendon. I'm wondering how they're doing. Anybody know? A clue as to where i'll find the thread on the new board will do! Thanx all!

Zenith, please forgive me. I cannot keep up with the flow of this board, and I just saw your post. I want you to know that I would never have ignored you, I am sorry.
Brittany is doing fairly well, thank you for your concern. She has been allowed to return to school which was unexpected. She both enjoys and is annoyed with the additional attention her condition provides her She has the expected love hate relationship going with her crutches. She even found a way to overcome her distaste for them to a degree by having her friends sign her crutches. She is in good spirits which is a blessing. Once again I thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers on Brittany's behalf

Oh thats so great to hear Relic! How long do you think she'll be on crutches? Did you tell her about all the people rooting for her?

Good news Relic, I am so pleased she's in good spirits. Children are marvelous in thier capacity for recovery. I will send her an e-mail tomorrow night to keep her chin up.

Still rooting for her here! I'm glad to hear she is doing better than was expected. That is hopeful, eh?

How are YOU holding up The.Relic? Have you found support you need for yourself during this difficult time?

I'll keep praying that you both come through this well, and much more quickly than anyone would think was possible!

Relic, think nothing of it! you have an injured child to add to the frustrations of everyday life Glad to hear she's adjusting. We could all learn a thing or two about the resilience of kids. Keep all chins up and remember- laughter helps us heal faster!
