Shocked Odd news... it's back!

Read this today, and... WTF?

German student attacks Hell's Angels with puppy

BERLIN (Reuters) – A German student created a major traffic jam in Bavaria after making a rude gesture at a group of Hell's Angels motorcycle gang members, hurling a puppy at them and then escaping on a stolen bulldozer.

German police said on Monday that after making his getaway from the Hell's Angels club, the 26-year-old dumped the bulldozer, causing a 5 km (3 miles) traffic jam near the southern town of Allershausen, local police said. He then fled to his home nearby where he was apprehended by the police.

"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hell's Angels is currently unclear," said a spokesman for local police, adding that the student had lately been suffering from depression.

The puppy was now in safe hands, the spokesman added.

Okay.... attacking a group of hell's angels, assault with a cuddly puppy, then choosing a bulldozer for a getaway vehicle? Who left the keys in the 'dozer?

All that's missing is the line about alcohol being a factor, and then it would be easy to explain. Well, sort of...

Now THAT'S excitement!

It's a few years ago, and this drugstore chain is adding the first Windows NT machine to its previously all-Unix server room. And naturally, all the PC and network techs are gathered around to watch the process -- including this pilot fish.

"Everyone is very excited," says fish. "We have the new server set up and we're configuring it for services.

"Then the Halon alarm goes off."

That's when fish and her cohorts discover some things they didn't know before -- such as the fact that the room's automatic door is set to lock if the fire-suppression system is triggered.

And the fact that there's no phone in the room.

And the fact that no one's cell phone will work in the shielded, basement server room.

Reports fish: "Turns out that someone in charge of the help desk decided to test the Halon alarm to see how audible it was.

"He discovered that the alarm is quite audible -- as is the screaming of the six people he's scared ten years of life off of."

Well, at least it happened in a drugstore. The idiot who set it off without warning people could get bandaids, iodine, and gauze at a discount, after getting his a$$ kicked by the six...

A list of the biggest man-children of the century would be far more entertaining.

Ed: Erm, that was in no way intended as a dig at Gary Coleman, RIP.

Heads found in Southwest air cargo facility

Quote:
Officials in Arkansas are investigating a shipment of 40 to 60 human heads found by Southwest Airlines employees at a cargo facility last week in Little Rock, the Pulaski County coroner said on Thursday....

"They were basically in plastic containers with lids that are not air sealed," Coroner Garland Camper said. "They were duct taped with minimal information to disclose what was inside."
Imagine if that plane had crashed & the authorities tried to identify all the bodies? I wonder who found them, the catering crew?

I thought the stewardesses were supposed to do head counts before takeoff?
