missing inventory

Ouch....I have the latest patch to BG2:SOA but I'm still losing a lot of valuable equipment from my inventory for no reason. I lost all my Gesen bow parts as well as the equalizer sword blade and hilt.

I didn't realize it until after I finished both the Illiath and Beholder dungeons in Underdark....argh...those were the toughest dungeons too to date.

I thought that the major Nishruu bug was fixed but apparently I'm still missing stuff. I heard that the earthquake spell causes stuff to be lost but I haven't casted it at all and never been through an earthquake....

Argh...I hate having to go to Chapt 6 only have to backtrack. I also lost equipment from my other saved games so this is not good. HELP!

Sometimes, I lose stuff when I die or am imprisoned.
I even had the item icon shown in the box once, but it was not truelly there. The only way I have found to stop that fromm happening is to check my inventory at times of death or imprisonment, and if something is wrong, I have to just reboot from my last save.

oh well.

I went ahead and started a new character over for BG2. Feel kinda bummed that I played my old characters all the way from BG1 and I didn't want to start all over again from the first game...

I hate using those cheat programs but now I think I may have too if only to keep my sanity in check...hehe.
