Man I am pished - what a day, as the mighty Brisbane Lions win a Three-peat, going back to back to back in the Australian Football League. Three cheers to Vossy, Simo, Aker and the boys. Sing everybody

We are the pride of BRISBANE town
We wear Maroon, Blue and Gold
We will always fight for victory
Like Fitzroy and Bears of old
All for one, and one for all
We answer to the call
Go Lions, Brisbane Lions
We'll kick the winning score
You'll hear our mighty ROAR!!!

You bloody bewdy

Looking at the title I thought this has something to do with Arsenal vs Newcastle Utd match.

Can you believe I didn't get to see the game?? We had our 4th year conference yesterday where everyone did a presentation of their thesis, and mine was on at 4:10 so I couldn't even leave early and see the end . I couldn't believe it when I got in my car at 5:15 and there was 30 seconds left! Anyway woohooo!!!!!

I hear all the lions managed to shake the baby lions' hands this year, and no one handed out any game socks either, so that's a plus

No game socks, but one of them scored a knee bandage from memory . You missed a great game Aelia - I have been wearing my Brissie scarf all day, and will still be wearing it this time next week Man I wish I was in Brisbane for the celebrations - oh well, I will be over there in mid December and be snapping some "Three-peat" merchandise form the shop at the Gabba .

One of the best signs at the game :

Question : What is the best thing about Black and White?

Answer : The both play for the Brisbane Lions

Call yourself a Queenslander Aelia Jusa.... shame

Congratulations Davros, (he says through clenched teeth) it it a fantastic achievment. Now when you can do ten in a row like St George in NRL then I will be impressed

Bah - the Brisbane success is more reevant that St George's run. We have the disadgvantages of the draft and the salary cap and travel and coming from a non-football state .

You may have one a twenty off me Wellard, but the Brissie boys gave me all the reward I needed on the weekend . Now for 4
