Ah too bad, I don't know why they all want this 3D when 2D worked so fine and 3D doesn't... well I might take a look at it anyway, maybe this time it is better...

3D is okay, it just has to be executed differently. For example, TOEE is actually not bad. It's very short, and the unpatched version has a ton of glitches, but I think the gameplay works. If they released a game in TOEE style, with the same in depth storyline and pre-made, deep, fleshed out NPC's, I think it could be great. I mean, the fact that it's the only game I've seen that includes cloaks is an awesome factor.

Sorry, Temple of Elemental Evil. A game that was mentioned before. No worries.

Temple of Elemental Evil has 2D background with 3D characters, which works great. IMO it's the best RPG-engine so far.

... you will be able to set the camera so that it looks BG-ish in Dragon Age.

*Gets into time machine so that he can have Dragon Age NOW!* Hey, I liked NWN, especially the expansion packs.

Morrowind. It's like an MMORPG only not online. It's brilliant, and if you loved Daggerfall you'll really like this one. Brilliantly done, only problem is like Daggerfall, its notoriously buggy, including the dreaded falling through the walls bug.

Another one hardly ever mentioned but incredibly brilliant is Wizardry8. So the graphics are outdated but who cares. I waited my whole life as a kid for the sequel to Wiz7 CotDS to come out, it finally did, and I still play this game. Its amazing, though not as good as Wiz7. Get it, you won't regret it.
