Sheesh, scammers will try anything. Luckily I've already been called for jury duty twice, so know they don't ask for personal information on the phone. Others though may not know that, so good idea to get the word out.

In my experience, all jury duty notifications are mailed to the address on file at the county court house. The envelope is offically marked, posted, and return addressed from the county clerks court house office, to the legal resident by name. Enclosed is all the documentation you need, and a return envelope. No phone call needed!
Folks, if the government wants something from you, you will have no doubt in your mind at that moment who they are, who you are, and what they want. And it WILL NOT be from telephonic conversation.

My communication has all been in the mail as well. They've asked me to call to confirm, or call to see if I'd be needed, but that's it.
If in doubt, look up the phone number for the jurisdiction in question and ask them. They'll tell you if they're looking for you or not. But be sure to look up the phone number yourself. Don't call the phone number that "they" give you...
