Mad

Yup, some spammer with chutzpah found me and sent this, along with a zip file I didn't open, of course...thought you'd find it amusing! (It came with a topic header of "Your ip has been logged"

Dear Sir/Madam,

we have logged your IP-address on more than 30 illegal Websites.

Important:
Please answer our questions!
The list of questions are attached.

Yours faithfully,
Steven Allison

I didn't know whether to laugh my orange juice out my nose or feel sorry for anyone that would actually believe that the FBI would A) send them an email questionaire, B) NEED to send a questionaire, C) sign an email with 'yours faithfully', D) not use a title on the 'agent's' name if one was used, E) yah, like the REAL FBI has to TELL you it's 'important' F) would address it to dear 'Sir or Madam' ...uh.. hello, it's the FBI, if they did 'log your ip' buddy, they sure as shooting know your NAME! G) As my husband pointed out, the real FBI would have a spelling/grammar checker too

What!?!?! This guy really works for the CIA! That's what he said in the email I got....

Hmmm.... maybe I shouldn't have responded to their questions by claiming I was Cloudy...

Hey, Lanesra, thanks! I'm still chuckling at how ridiculous it is if you look at it and think about it... but I bet some people just open that attachment without thinking!

LOL,

My husband said that after reading my post here.

Check the profile of the email and see where they sent it from. Look up the IP address on www.ip2location.com

Etc.

Then send them an email telling you reported them to the FBI for fraud and perpetrating an officer.

I've got a feeling the FBI will be investigating this email scam pretty carefully for some reason...
