Default Sacred 2

Just went out and saw the trailer for it on their site and WOW.... now I'm really torn between that and the witcher... Has any one read any reviews on it?

I don't think there are any demos out yet for it toot. Their trailers have been out for awhile but they still won't show the entire set of characters! dammit! I'm really looking forward to Sacred 2, but I don't think we'll see it ready to go until next year. But they at least recently made a new website for it, so things are progressing.

LOL, last year at the official Sacred UW forums (am a member there) we had a thread about what we'd like to see character-wise in Sacred 2. I really stressed a water related creature LOL. I mean, you could make it rain on an enemy, drown em in a water bubble, and of course be able to move across, and in through streams and lakes and such. You could have a Tsunami spell that had a knock down feature LOL. Just so many fun things! Of course I doubt we'll see that but I think it would have been cool. I still though want to see what their characters are going to be.

So, that's my review. Again they have a new website for Sacred 2 now, although no forums yet (the link there takes you to the original Sacred forums) :

The trailers that I saw yesterday were from the site. I like the aspect of the creatures ( that are displayed so far) have some pretty funny animations. I think it will be my next one

I just hope Ascaron doesn't screw up Sacred 2 like GAS powered games (Microsuck) screwed up Dungeon Siege 2. I'm really looking forward to Sacred 2, but only if the gameplay is similar to the first one.

Would it be too much if I were to hope that the game developer to fully test the game and rid the game of bugs first before releasing it?

It sounds a little bit too much more of the same diablo derived action rpg oriented stuff for me to get overly excited, but if the gameplay mechanics are there as in the in the original it might make for some neat multiplayer action.

The Witcher interests me more generally speaking for its fresh take on cause and consequences in roleplaying. Should be very interesting indeed!
