Last question: Using the player from the above link, I get the picture and sound. Using WMP I still have issues. So, if I burn this to a DVD, will it "know" what to use to ensure I will have both audio and video?

I'll clarify what I said previously. There is a specific format needed to burn DVDs. This format doesn't change from burner to burner, player to player. You have to convert your video clips to this particular format in order to burn DVDs.

That's why it takes so long to burn your DVDs.

So to answer your question, no you don't need to worry.
