What pieces come to your mind? Of course, it can be any game, from ancient spectrum era to yet-to-be-released games.
Ripper Turricane (C64) Dizzy Panic (C64) BG 2 ...and there would be more if my brain cells would survive better over then years. So, throw your nominees in!

Actually, N64's Bond game and Rogue Squadron game were good.
I got a music disc with a recent purchase of BG1/TotSC that worked really well this weekend as background music for our D&D game. However, we just popped to The Land Where Nobody Smiles (i.e. Ravenloft), so I'm gonna have to fall back on the standard RL-type music: Soundtracks to The Hunger, Stoker's Dracula, Interview w the Vampire, etc. |

If there was more of a bang to it, then the Halo music. The right music depends on the mood of the players; the Hampster Dance goes extremely well if you're just blowing warthogs into the sky

Undoubtedly, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
With over 300 real singles in the game, it is easily the best music ever. The music comes on when your in a car, you pick your radio station (10 or so), each witha playlist containing 30 or so (probs less acutally) songs. Hits include: Cars, Gold, Billie Jean, Broken Wings, also Ozzy, Mr.Mister, Pantera are on it, oh, to many to mention!
