I went through the whole scenario with him and the mercs, was forced to kill them, yadda yadda, and Saemon disappeared during the fight.Again.
Apparently he has the key for the crypt inside cave. Will I run into him again? Or is there another way to get a key?

Actually, DO worry. You'll never get rid of him
And there also happens to be another way inside, if I recall correctly. |

I wish I could get that weasel too. I haven't met him yet in TOB; but, I know you can't kill him then. I do recall that you have the chance to kill him on the boat before it capsises after the asylum. My question is this: if I killed him on the boat, does he respawn with the smugglers, and if so, do I ever get the chance to give him the execution that he so ever deserves? Thanks.

In SOA you can also kill him in the assylum if youre fast when he first approaches you with his proposal on how to get off the island, but then you wouldnt get the (spoiler) adventure.
In TOB , the good news is you dont need him to get into Balthazars keep, he just represents the easiest way in( based on the quality and quantity of the fighting you have to do otherwise to get in). There are two other ways into the keep. The bad news is, I havent figured out a way to kill him in TOB...but I was able to Imprision him for all eternity using the 9th level spell...which is worse when you think about it. Chev |

What the hell? How can you people not LOVE Saemon Havarian!? I only wish I could use him in my party. He should have been able to join.

Spoilers of a sort:
* * * * * * * * * * * * * I have been able to kill Saemon in TOB. Surprisingly, a web spell in the cavern was enough to stop his dimension door from automatically kicking in, at which point he was toast. |
