Solo sorcerer help in chapter2

Guys do you remember those crystal golems in chapter 2? My friend goes with a solo sorcerer and he is having serious trouble with them. He is paladin3/sorc10 and he cannot defeat them. Immune to all kinds of magic and if i remember correctly only vulnerable by bludgeoning damage. I dont remember exactly but i went with a solo sorcerer and i would remember something like this. Could a skull trap(my favourite spell) harm them? It deals all kinds of damage. Piercing, slashing, bludgeoning as well. Or any other spell?

It deals slashing damage, not all kinds. Only way to harm them I think, is to use Lower Resistance, and then Lance of Disruption(that red spell that deals loads of bludgeoning damage).

My advice is just grab a bunch of throwing hammers and throw and run throw and run....

I think I remember killing them barehanded the first time because I like swords and didnT' carry anything else.

He's got a couple paladin levels, he should probably be able to do the same too.

Or grab some bullets off of one of the stormsisters and wing em.

Haste would be advisable for better running-awayness.

Stupid! I'm stupid! I just remembered... You know that man in ice that you must brake to get the amulet to pass through gates in that level? Well, to both sides are levers with rocks... Instagib for the golems, if you can lure them there... I reccomend luring him down under the trap, then casting a summon to keep him busy while you go around and squishy crashy [img]smile.gif[/img]

During my first run through the game, I had no blunt weapons. I thought that the way to defeat a crystal golem was to get them in the traps, but IIRC the damage dealt by the traps did not get a bonus due to bludgeoning. In other words, it was a blunt level 5 magic missle.

If u hav tenser's transformation use that, because magic is pretty ineffecitive against them.
