I thought I was going for the gold when I was
looking for the best price to order two of the 7800 or ati 1900 for the new computer I'm putting together. Then I read this article and figure maybe I'll just get one ATI X1900 w/512 Ram and wait for another 2 years to see if my whole system isn't out dated by then. Then I can use the extra money to buy Towels to catch all the drool...

Well if you REALLY want to go all out, you do know there are two motherboards available with 4 PCi-e ports right? imagine 4 of those cards
Only problem is that Nvidia does not have drivers that support 4 cards yet (and apparently those two crads you showed aren't even being used properly as the current drivers dont unlock them to ther full potential!) |

Yeah, it said in the article that neither Asus, or Nvidia were supporting the cards currently, and seemed a little intimidated by what they had put together. However, even the results of their tests might be improved on a slight amount by lowering the resolution to 1024x768. Seems that might be a little less demanding.
