I see nothing funny in suggesting that the US blows someone pieces...especially after warping the good and innocent mind of a child.

If I hadn't already have gotten the joke as an e-mail I would have laughed out loud for sure. for those who had to post and gripe... It's a joke people. If you want to pound your politics do it in one of the serious threads about politics. Of course I will probably get my arse chewed for posting this but, I am about ready to leave these boards just for this reason. Can't we have some fun here without politics getting into everything. Of course this is a joke about the war so maybe I am out of line here. |

It was a joke, and I knew some wouldn't like it, but since no one will like everything....
By the way, it isn't funny because of the "death wish" for Osama. The current War on Terrorism is just the foundation for a classic "bait and switch" joke. It's funny because it's surprising. It seems serious, but the ending is the exact opposite of what you expected.

A bit on the tasteless side if you ask me... And a rip-off of the little movie that haunted the Internet for a while close after 9-11 as well, where Americans lured out Osama's forces by singing "Cumbajah", praising peace all over the world, and when Osama and his forces come closer with tears in their eyes, they are blown into tiny pieces.
Can't say I think it's funny at all, but some people apparently like their humour this way. btw Did anyone notice that of all the posters responding to this so far, only the Americans thought it was funny? [ 02-05-2002: Message edited by: Grojlach ]

Maybe because only the Americans got 5000+ fellow citizens killed.
