No that's not true Micah. NWN1 didn't require a cd in the drive after patch x. I bet that's what Zoltan expected to happen here. Well, you can expect it to happen a few patches down the road, it's not time for that yet.

There's a no-cd patch for NWN2 but yes, it causes you problem s when patching since the new patch replaces the NoCD shortcuts every time it patches. What I did was a full install from my DVD (gotta have the space to spare of course) and I put the DVD away safely.
