Question Mark

Tonight my church's youth is going to a place for a lock in(a place where they lock you in for a period of time) and if someone falls asleep they will awake an have been lipsticked,make-uped,antiqued,toothpasted,whip creamed,or marked on by a marker. I don't want this to happen to me. Any tips for staying awake?

At your age ..... Mountain Dew.
And keep busy. Don't think too hard on anything. Have fun and relax. Enjoy!

Coffee. Lots of coffee. failing that, I have a few things not to do:

-Drink yourself into a stupor.
-Anything to strain your eyes. eg reading in low light, it will tire them.

One thing to stay awake with, just keep reminding yourself of what will happen if you do.

I have a better idea. Fake falling asleep and beat the snot out of the first person who attempts to put something on you. Then if you do fall asleep for real everyone will be too scared to come near you again.

Hunter has a point, but its tricky to fake sleep without actualy falling asleep.

I would suggest a pack of cards - even solitare will keep your brain active, but something competitive such as poker would be better. Bring chips if you want to gamble, else you can end up skint.

Also, dont actively try to not go to sleep. Just carry on as normal, dont think about sleeping at all.

Coke and Red Bull. Works as a charm, believe me!

Anyhows, I also agree with Andrewas, bring something which will keep your brain active, like a deck of cards or a book.

Humm... what exactly is a lock-in? I never heard of that.

I know I would never let someone lock me somewhere...

[/QUOTE]A lock in is a place where someone locks you or a group of people for a long or short period of time.

LOL, a lock-in is when they let a bunch of kids stay upall night, they lock the doors and chaperon so that they don't get up to anything, if you know what I mean, and I know you do.
