But a Kensai/Thief cannot wear armor, then what kind of equipment do you use to lower AC, this is under the assumption that I already have 18 DEX.

Are you sure 250? Have you tried? A kensai cannot wear plate or leather or anything unless he is a kensai/mage because then he can wear a robe.

By the way, how do you get -23? The swashbuckler has a AC bonus of +2 at level 10, then when he duals to a fighter, he only have that bonus. No extra.

250, you are talking about normal fighter/thieves, right?
Without spells, the lowest I can get the Kensai/Thief armour class down to is from -1 to -3. I would assume this is normal then......

for kensai/thief with 18 dex
it starts out with 6 AC due to dex and kensai kit bonus

shadow dragon scale (yes, i am sure) AC1
that makes -3 AC

the dust stone thing (a helmet gives +1 AC wearable by almost any kits)
-4AC

ring of gax
-6

ring of earth control
-7

cloack of sewer
-8

single weapon bonus (+2AC)
-10

if you use the ninja-to scimiatr sold in bonus CD, that is -12AC

if you use shield: setital +4 (+4AC, but not single weapon style bonus)
so it is -8AC -2 -4 = -14AC

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

for fighter/swashbulker, it is even better, dual class at lvl 10 swash, they get +4AC, as well as dex bonus, so they start at 4AC (fighter)

drow full plate: -12AC
ring of gax: -14AC
ring of earth contral: -15AC
cloack of sewer: -16AC
helm of baldriun: -17AC
shield of sential: -21AC
either drizzt defender or that bonus scimitar -23AC

That is really good to hear. Now I must go fight that dragon.

About the helmet, my kensai/thief cannot wear helmet, but that is just 1 ac so I don't mind.

I knew you used drow equipment! By the way, you can have two ring of gaxx which lower the AC with one more.

How come the kensai's AC bonus isn't added to the dexterity bonus like the swashbuckler? A kensai at level 1 should have 2 ac bonus too. The dexterity bonus (18 dex) is 4, so I think the kensai should have 4 from the beginning (10-2-4=4). Isn't it so?
