Ouch! Poor thing, I hope she was alright. I did that when I was a boy living in Tucson AZ.. The sand particles and small stones and debris that were smacking me all upside the 'everywhere' was enough to teach me not to do it again. . Never did learn my lesson playing around cactus though, talk about dense. .

I remember some of the teachers dragging her out of it kicking and screaming. We were all scared, um, well we were pretty frightened. In retrospect though, it was actually pretty funny

Whoa! I got through a tornado in Arkansas once. Scary night and in a trailer too! EEFF! We had to open all the windows to let the wind through so as not to build up pressure inside. Never want to live through anything like that again!

It kinda makes me wonder why people wanna move to the area of the US christened 'tornado alley'...or move to the coast of florida where youre constanly beaten by hurricanes...what do we have in San Diego? Drought and overcast, with an occasional sprinkling

If you'll recall milady, California is also known for it's Earthquakes, which can be as devastating as any hurricane or tornado, and sometimes moreso, luckly they don't occur with that power very often

Oh, i see your speaking to me again? Well men are always the 1st to break. But i havnt felt an earthquake in 9 years...well no there was one a couple months ago..i heard it 1st, i sat up in my bed to this loud rumbling noise and my 1st thought was 'OMG THE TERRORISTS ARE BOMBING US!!!'
Then the house shook a little. Maybe northern and central Cali got those probs, but not good old SD
