Okay, it's like this. I have several programs on my computer that I've downloaded from the internet. The problem with these programs is that they very often have a limited time to them (usually thirty days). This means that after a month I lose these programs and have to download them all over again, which is, as you can imagine, highly annoying. So I was wondering whether anyone knows of a program to get rid of the time limit on downloaded programs. I don't really hold out much hope here, and it's a bit of a shot in the dark, but I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me out here. Thanks in advance

well the one sure fire way to get rid of it is to pay for it
but if you are wanting to be a little shady about it you can looking into finding *cracks* for your software. now just so you know, "cracking" your software is not exactly legal. (i used to do it all the time)
If your interested in looking for cracks you could try the search engine at (warning the following link may include inappropriate material or links to inappropriate material) www.astalavista.com.

Hehe that's a very subtle way of saying that u wanna use programs illegally permanently, SA.
A little trick u can do is set your system date back to a day after u installed it or something whenever u wanna use it.

But, huh, how are we software makers to live if you people don't buy our stuff ?

Starving people's first motivation is definitely not making better programs ...

IMO, the only way to get people to pay for software or to stop copying CD's is to include something really cool (posters, miniatures, even sunglasses) in the software package (at no extra charge, of course). Then, two or three generations later, everyone will forget how to crack software and copy CD's, so the quality can improve again

Happy happy happy, joy joy joy

I'll agree to that... then again there will be MORE cracking

Well, please do pardon my 'illegality' Moiraine. I really will start paying for this stuff once I can be bothered to go out and get myself a job. Honest
