Favorite Ice Cream?

Since it's summer up here in the good old northern hemisphere, what's your favorite ice cream (or sorbet, or cold treat) flavor? And who makes it?

We've got a very easy homemade ice cream maker, and I think the BEST flavor we've had so far was cantaloupe, which tastes just like the fruit it is made from. Second best, even though I'm a chocolate lover, is a vanilla made from a several-generations-old family recipe.

What's yours?

I like most ice creams. Off hand I can't think of any that I don't like. But my favorite is french vanilla. It is sooo much better than regular and you can put anything on it.

And toppings are a must when it comes to ice cream.

I do love really good chocolate. And orange sorbet. But I always go back to vanilla, especially with chocolate sauce/flakes on it [img]smile.gif[/img]

I like most ice creams, especially with fruit flavour. But my favorite is pistachio and vanilla.

I don't like chocolate.

I used to prefer strawberry over all the other flavours, but that mostly passed. Then there was a time when I almost always picked walnut flavoured ice (with little chunks of walnut in it of course). Right now I'm in the late stages of my lemon period, I think.
Aside from those, I like vanilla and anything with chocolate in it lots too. I always go back to vanilla and [img]graemlins/choc3.gif[/img]
