I may be wrong, but I suspect you appear as a guest till you post something whether or not you are registered. There is no auto-login.

Mouse has it. We show up on the Who's ONLINE screen as "guest" until we actually post. That's when we 'sign in'.

But Larry? GREAT post! There are certainly some real GUESTS out there and we all do hope they join up and join in!

Actually, I do have an automatic log on. I think it has to do with Windows keeping your Password for you, and something to do with the link, I do not know how to explain it, but I never "LOG ON"...

I am sure Memnoch can explain why...

I've got the same at home, Larry. You probably (like me) ticked "remember password for 1 year" when you signed up, and you probably have a fixed IP address like me. At work I have to log on all the time.

I still don't get why you need 2 logons though. Next time you're at work, try re-entering your home logon and password. It should work, I guarantee you.

all you have to do is use the same username and password at both locations. you dont need to reregister. just forward a copy of the confirmation page that the board sent you when you registered the first time to your work email. (or where ever your wanting to login. then use that name and password on both computers.
