Hi all, I just started SoA last night and so far it is awesome! After finishing BG my computer kept freezing so I could not get a final save of my level 8 fighter (though now that I think about it I could always export him b/f the final battle???) so I created a new character. He starts off with 89K XP, I was under the impression each character starts with 161K. Did I miss something?

Yes you can import him before the final battle I think. I don't know about the XP tough.

Your character starts at 161,000 XP if you finished BG with TOTSC installed and import that character. Otherwise, SOA assumes that you only finished vanilla BG and gives you 89,000 XP (which is the previous XP cap for BG).
In the long run, it probably won't make too much of a difference, since you'll gain more than enough XP in SOA. You can export from the final save of your original BG game or edit your XP in shadowkeeper. edit: Aragorn, you beat me to it. [ 01-27-2005, 01:18 PM: Message edited by: Neomi ]

Thanks for the help. I have ToSC and finished it twice, but each time my system froze prior to the final save. It seems right after the message ******* has fallen it freezes. I didn't have that problem prior to installing ToSC...
