If God is omnipotent, why must he have a Plan to save mankind?

Surely if he truly wanted us to do what he says, we wouldn't have a choice?

Why if, perchance, God is a woman? As it is the mother who gives life to a child, God gives birth to the universe. Perhaps we should make Mother's Day a holiday to honor more than Easter Sunday. Maybe God was Jesus' mother, and Satan, as many like to name him by, was the father. Christianity being, for a long time, and in some cases still today, a male religion. Meaning men act as the priests, bishops, and Pope. They are the beholders of the churches power. The men are given command and the women meant to serve? Of course there are nuns. What better way to ensure the position of hierarchy than to create God in the image of a man. But if that is the case, who gave birth to God, if indeed God is male? Ah but I forget, he always existed. Each person to indeed be a god themselves, and need fear no longer.
The church used as a way of controlling the masses? An unseen, unknown force called god, in the shape of a man, commands a church, run by men, and these men sent to save the souls of the sinners.
Those who are convinced of faith can rarely be told otherwise, because they will only listen to so much before a rebuttal. To serve another without cause is pointless, and to put faith before reason leaves responsibility aside.

Millions have given or taken lives as a result of faith. Does this make religion stronger than life itself, or has the sacrifice of one man left only the sacrifice of all others?
