I usually dont have a any trouble finding the places a game stores it savegames, though with iwd im not realy sure, there is a folder called mpsave, but as far as I know thats a savegame folder for multiplayer games, or is it?
Some info on this would be appreciated =)

I thought all the saved games were stored in that file regardless of whether it was a true mplayer game or not.
