Jinx is selfish. He looks out for himself and only himself, a wonderful trait for a Jester. When trying to find his way out of the Underdark he gets this offer to retrieve these Silver Dragon eggs. The dragon wants them. The Drow Matron wants them. An ambitious little manipulating Drow Female wants them. They must be good for something. Besides all they're going to do is summon a demon, big deal. So when the time comes to turn over the eggs to the demon, Jinx says, "you're not going to do anything with those eggs." Famous last words?

But Jinx isn't so dumb. He has a plan. Protection from Evil, Haste, the normal battery of protections and enhancements. Jinx got crushed. Time for plan B. Big weapons. Fast fighters. Lots of damage. Jinx got smashed. Time for plan C. It's magical. Lower resistance, magic missle, magic missle, magic missle, . . . and the Demon Lord falls.

Jinx gets to keep the eggs. What they're for, he'll never figure out. But everybody wanted them and now Jinx has them.

Zoratorak, bravo! You picked the best moment. How could the last battle not be your fav moment of the game? Very well written. Bravo! Evil meet sword, sword meet evil has to be my favorite line in the entire game.

Most of the funnest moments have to center around Minsc and the Liliacor (the talking sword thing?) Very funny. Especially when I walked into the room with the silver Dragon and it asked if we could kill something.

The best moment for me was just after I opened and installed the game and got to the create new character screen.

All the new classes! I picked a Monk, but was heavily lured by the Bardic Jester/Skald/Blade, plus the Assassin, Archer and Shapeshifter. (Consequently I ended up playing each kit through till I got each stronghold)

Oh the anticipation, the expectation. and I was not to be disappointed.

The worst moment for me was the end. No more.

So I played it again. And again. And again.

It was a bit like going on holiday. The start held so much anticipation but at the end it's always a bit of "Damn, it's finished"

Shadows of Amn is far and away the best game I've ever played.

Yorick,

don't play Diablo II ! It has the most ridiculous end I have ever seen. You kill the big bad guy, then the game tells you "The game will end in 120 seconds" ... and after this time the game just throws you out. No end picture, no end movie, nothing. Luc cursed all the evening after that ...

Has to be fighting Bhaal in the dream that Irenicus puts you in. I am fighting Bhaal, thinking that Imoen would do something rather than stand there looking stupid, he keeps beating on me until I am almost dead. I go to my inventory and find that I have a couple of potions of healing. Thinking that this is just the thing I need, since I have him badly injured and only need to get a couple more hits in. So I drink the potion and poof "You feel slightly intoxicated" pops up. DAMN THOSE CURSED POTIONS!!!! Nedless to say Bhaal had no problem fininshing the stumbling drunk I became.

My party is clashing with the Black Dragon. Dispite having geared up with tons of protection spells and major weapons, we are still getting clobbered. My main character, Minsc, and Jehira are all down and out for their hit-points. Imoan and Nalia were both KOed from a spell. Then Aerie, with less max hit-points than Minsc's current HP, whose attacks never inflict much damage, using Melf's Minute Meteorites, scores two crits in a row for the kill!

I am not making this up, it actually happened in my game. What makes it really far out, is that it's also the third dragon that she did the coup de grace against. Now that's something that doesn't happen much, the wimpiest party-member bags a total of 3 dragons!

Almost as good as a...

It's a toss up between the solo-mage killing Firlraag with one chromatic orb(that spell is evil) and the first time Imet Drizzt & co. . . .with Minsc, Keldorn and Viconia. Lost most my party on that one. Heh.

everytime when an enemy mage with reflection defense casts attack spells at my 'cloak of mirroring' wearing character (happened first time while duelling in drow bar), then they play tennis i know who wins , very funny
