Is Dungeon Lords as bad as I have heard? I am surprised that there is no forum here for it, being that it is a D. W. Bradley game. It must be a real embarrassment.

We did have a forum up until a few weeks ago, and some people got some enjoyment out of it from what I read.
I had fun with the demo, but I didn't buy it because I heard that the combat (the part I found fun) gets old quick. [ 12-18-2005, 02:49 PM: Message edited by: Lucern ] |

Being a big fan of Wizards and Warriors, I was disappointed to read so many bad reviews of this game. It must have been really bad if they pulled the forum.

I didn't think it was that bad, just not completely finished.

It wasn't completely finished, and even with the third patch (or is it fourth now?), there were still things waiting for improvement. You couldn't set it to spawn monsters anything more than rarely, or else you'd literally spend all your time in battle... 'cause while you're fighting one critter, the next one would be lining up to take a shot at you!
I enjoyed it for what it was, and played it a couple of times. It just doesn't have the staying power of W&W or the old MM series, or even BG. I still see it in the stores for almost full price, however... go figure
