Will ToB fix the problem with Grand Mastery?

I'm also wondering if someone can list the special abilities that your character gets and if they are different by alignment.

Also does anyone know if the ring of Gaxx, ring of regen, and blackrazor regen effects are cumulative?

Thanks,

-KR

The grand mastery problem can easily be fixed by downloading the file off the Ironworks site. And the regeneration effects are cumulative. You can use the druid spell "Regeneration" too
As for your other question: I'm sure someone can...

After many releads/restarts I found that your special abilities are essentially random with a few patterns. Your main character gets 6 specieal abilities total. If you are Lawful Good, you almost always get healx2, cure poison x2, holy might x2. If you are more evil or chaotic, you are more likely to get Fear, Vampiric touch, or minor drain. Another possibility includes Resist fear.

It all depends on class. Some classes gain certain special abilities while others dont.

Thats one of the truly great things about this game..... you can experiment with all the classes and all the specialties that each has. Most compliment one another very well so you can try different combinations and see what you like best.

Umm, I think he meant the innate abilities that your character gets in BG1, right, not the class specific ones.

As it was stated, you can't move your proficiencies from one weapon to another. This would be the equivilant of getting back the time you spent learning how to use the weapon in the first place. You CAN use Shadowkeeper to do something like that if you REALLY want to, but that may take alot of the fun out of the game.

You WILL get additional proficiencies as you level up. Warrior classes get a new one every 3 levels, Rogues and Priests ever 4 levels, and Magess every 6 levels, since most of their free time is spent studying the Arts.
