Hmmm, Arkansas... Well I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you're an adult ... in which case it's noone's business what you watch (I've got a bunch of relatives in Arkansas... great state now that the Clintons are gone).

I think it's important for people to understand what's going on in the world and form their opinions based on knowledge, not because the goverment said so... or anyone else said so. There WILL be things that you don't want to hear and see, but enlightenment is never painless.

It has always been the 18-30 crowd that has been called upon to serve this country in times of crisis. It is sad, and it is terrible the pains they have to suffer..which is why it is important that we honour them with all we have, because despite the politics of the governments involved, it is they that have to fight and die to do what they believe is right...what their leaders tell them is right.

Im not trying to judge, but Stormy, perhpas this forum isn't a good place for you to be. Not because you don't have the right, just because it is a rough place. I wouldn't send a ballerina onto a pro-football field either

Stormy, my wife really enjoyed Band of Brothers and Blackhawk Down. She told me just this weekend (we rented Blackhawk Down) that she never realized it but war movies were in fact very sentimental and show a lot of the male emotions underlying what may be tough exteriors. Losing your life in defense of a fallen comrade is every bit as sympathetic as anything ever shown in a romance movie or one of those Sundance movies ("Cowboys eating pudding," says Cartman ).
