Amazon.com has an ad sayin that the DVD for LotR will be out in early August. The 9th I think.

Some more info. The date is August 6 and the price will be $22.95 and you will have a choice of DVD or video. In DVD you can get wide screen or full screen.

I am going to wait until November to buy mine. That is the one that has 30 minutes added to the movie that they originally cut out due to time restraint. It will be worth the wait! (four DVDs)

Hehehe Im going to try and resist untill they release the full blown Collectors Edition/Directors cut of all three, hopefully a boxed set.
